- Avoid pressuring participants regarding religious or political beliefs.
- Coordinate with the timebank before involving friends or relatives.
- Neither ask for nor accept money, gifts or tips without informing the platform coordinator.
- Refrain from consuming a member's food and drink without an invitation.
- Adhere to a no-smoking policy in a member's home or venue.
- Obtain clear permission before using any possessions of the member.
- Treat all participants respectfully.
About this timebank:
- Timebank members are part of a community, not traditional volunteers.
- Credits are earned and spent, fostering a two-way exchange.
- Donating credits to others is allowed.
- Credits earned can be saved for future needs.
- Exchanges should follow guidelines for expenses, cancellations, health and safety and safeguarding.
Rights and responsibilities:
- The time giver has rights to earn, bank, donate and receive recognition for services.
- The time receiver has rights to be treated with dignity and receive one-time credit for an hour of service.
- Responsibilities include providing a satisfying exchange, maintaining confidentiality and following the Standards of Care.

Terms of Service:
- Exchange only lawful services through this platform.
- Acknowledge digital offers and exchanges.
- Hold Made Open and Adorn CIC harmless for any injuries or property damage.
- Take responsibility for accidents or injuries on a timebank member's property.
- Immediate termination for harassment or harm to another member.

- Made Open does not guarantee performance or monitor transactions in their software.
- Members must protect privacy and confidentiality.
Global and community member guidelines:
- Understand the timebank's goal of building a non-monetary community of support.
- Use this platform for communication.
- Accept or decline exchanges promptly.
- Respond to members within 3 days.
- Offer services you enjoy.
- Be respectful, courteous and flexible in expectations.
- Communicate clearly and negotiate terms beforehand.
- Discuss expenses before the exchange.
- Complete exchanges and log hours promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Begin exchanges immediately.
- Attend events.
- Contact the coordinator for system issues, unresponsive members, inappropriate practices or changes in availability.
